Albufeira is the Algarve’s largest holiday resort, combining some of the most lively night life in Portugal, with generous sandy beaches.

The Old Town square and esplanades brim with cafes, bars and restaurants. Away from the bustling centre there is the traditional Portugal, with pretty narrow, twisting cobbled lanes of red rooved, white washed houses, criss-crossing up and behind the high cliffs which overlook the beautiful sandy beaches and clear blue sea.

In contrast the lively Strip is gregarious with numerous bars, restaurants and souvenir shops open until late.

Albufeira also has a small harbour and funky Marina which is a 10 minute drive from the apartment.
